Bay filly by Overbury(IRE) out of East Rose. This strong robust four year-old filly finished a close up and running-on third on her first start over hurdles at Newton Abbot in August.
By the high class National Hunt sire Overbury from one of the Aga Khan’s best families (she is related to the Triumph Hurdle winner Zarkander) this filly looks a useful NH prospect and she justified the potential shown at Newton Abbot, when winning at Huntingdon in October.
On her final start of the year, in the Triumph Hurdle Trial at Cheltenham in December, she was running well before making a mistake at the second-last, putting an end to any chance she might have had. She had a short break over Christmas and New Year and will return to full training at Saxon House in the middle of February.
