9 year-old bay gelding by Machiavellian(USA) out of Zaheemah(USA). He is the yard’s old favourite. He had a very successful all-weather campaign in the winter of 07/08 culminating in a fine victory in The Queen’s Prize at Kempton.
He ran well in 2009, placing several times and winning four races including a first success on turf at Epsom. He won and placed eight times in 2010 and continued the success in 2011, notching up another win at his favoured Southwell, as well as placing seven times. A much-liked, long-standing servant to the yard.
He picked up an injury at the end of 2011 and had a long break. He returned to the track in 2013 and after taking a few runs to get fully fit, he won at his beloved Southwell on his 96th start, winning his 9th race. There is life in the old boy yet!
