5 year-old grey/roan gelding by Verglas(IRE) out of Sigonella(IRE). This strong, good looking horse joined the yard at the back end of 2010, having been previously trained by Jeremy Noseda.
He ran a very satisfactory race on his debut at Wolverhampton but seemed to lose his way a bit before putting in a string of much-improved performances in the autumn of 2011 when he was unlucky not to get his head in front at the finish.
The decision had been taken to send him hurdling but he has picked up a injury, so was given a break to fully recover. He will now be saved for the 13/14 National Hunt season.
