5 year-old bay gelding by Monsieur Bond out of Miller’s Melody. A tough horse, who has made a remarkable recovery, after fracturing his pelvis at Newmarket in July 2011.
His ability is better than his bare form suggests, as he had his fair share of bad luck as a two-year-old, but managed to beat the impressive Krypton Factor in a Nursery at Nottingham.
Since returning from injury, he was brought along steadily. He travels very well in his races, but does not find alot for pressure, so he needs to be kidded into his races, which was achieved under a very cool winning ride by Racheal Kneller at Wolverhampton, with the trick repeated again at Lingfield in December. He has carried his form into the new year, when winning again over 6 furlongs at Lingfield.
To have got him back to the racecourse is an achievement in itself and it is a huge credit to the team here. He is now having a short break but will run on the turf in the summer.
