Ownership

Mark Usher Racing welcomes individual owners, however for a lot of racing enthusiasts the cost of racehorse ownership may seem prohibitive. Mark Usher Racing believes in and has developed several well run Partnerships which enable the costs to be broken down and therefore open to any enthusiast. These are listed below, shares are available. Please contact Mark Usher on 01488 72598, via our Contact form or visit the For Sale page.

SAXON HOUSE RACING

This Partnership has always been lucky, its colours often seen in the winner's enclosure with the likes of Valhillen and Saxon Saint. The Partnership now has two 3-y-o fillies running in Our Kally and Tallulah Sunrise (USA), both of whom should be worth following this winter. A lovely 2-y-o filly by Deploy called Diamond Dee is currently being syndicated, details of which you can see if you visit the For Sale page.

THE RIDGEWAY BLOODSTOCK COMPANY LTD

The expense of buying and keeping a racehorse in training can make it financially very difficult for people to become successful racehorse owners: and the costs involved in entering into the fascinating world of breeding racing thoroughbreds can be an equally prohibitive exercise.

The Ridgeway Bloodstock Company has been formed to provide a cost effective, well run and professionally managed vehicle in which to spread the cost and the risk of enjoying to the full all aspects of the attractive, interesting and exciting environment of the Thoroughbred Racing Industry.

...a vehicle which might make a dream or two come true!

MIDWEEK RACING

The Midweek Racing Club was set up fifteen years ago by a long-standing patron of the yard, Carl West-Meades. This Partnership has had a good deal of success both on the Flat and over Jumps. An ideal Partnership to be involved in for those seeking Flat but prominently National Hunt interest. Currently Carl is putting together a Partnership in a smashing 3-y-o gelding by Josr Algarhoud (IRE) out of Highland Blue. A highly promising National Hunt prospect. Shares available at £1,000 for 10% capital cost and then training and running costs of £480 per quarter starting 1st October, 2008.
