I have been training racehorses since 1983 and I am now based in Rowdown Stables, Upper Lambourn, a modern, purpose built, Yard with 30 Boxes with easy access to the superb Lambourn Gallops. We moved into Rowdown on the 1st January 2016 and you can see something of the excellent facilites we have here. My team and I work hard to do the best for our horses and to achieve success and enjoyment for our owners; I pride myself on high standards and attention to detail.

2019 Grey Gelding
by Heeraat (Ire) ex Jessica Ennis (USA) ( English Channel (USA) )
A grey half brother, by the Hackwood Stakes winner and really promising young stallion, Heeraat, to three horses who have done well for Rowdown, the multiple winners Bayston Hill, Indigo and On The Right Track.
We put him on the track in a seven furlong Maiden at Wolverhampton in the middle of July 2021 and he ran a decent race to be fourth keeping on steadily throughout the final third of the race; he will improve for that run and he is likely to be another winning member of this family that has been so successful for Rowdown. We put him on the track for the second time in a seven furlong Restricted Novice Stake at Kempton in the middle of August; he justified the view that he would improve and ran a fair race to be third, staying on nicely throughout the final furlong after being outpaced turning in, a performance all the more creditable because he was out wide throughout.
He stepped up to a mile in Maiden company and finished fourth, beaten just over five lengths; a first start in Nursery company followed and he finished an excellent third over seven furlongs at Kempton in the first week of August; we are delighted to have another son of Jessic Ennis in training.
He ran eight times in 2022; sometimes running pretty well (notably in his first and third starts at Wolverhampton) and, on occasion, he was less effective than we thought he might be; he has dropped from an opening two year old mark of 68 to 56 at the start of 2023; we are looking to get his career back on track in 2023 from what might be a favourable mark.
