I have been training racehorses since 1983 and I am now based in Rowdown Stables, Upper Lambourn, a modern, purpose built, Yard with 30 Boxes with easy access to the superb Lambourn Gallops. We moved into Rowdown on the 1st January 2016 and you can see something of the excellent facilites we have here. My team and I work hard to do the best for our horses and to achieve success and enjoyment for our owners; I pride myself on high standards and attention to detail.

By the very quick winner of the Flying Childers Stakes at the Doncaster St Leger Meeting, Ubettabelieveit, out of a five time winning Mare, Kindly, who was at her best over six furlongs and was rated as high as 88 at her best, this lightly raced and quietly progressive three year old has been given plenty of time.
This lad has a fair pedigree: he is by the smart 2-y-old Ubettabelieveit who won both a Listed race and the Group Two Flying Childers Stakes over 5f as a 2-y-old: his dam Kindly, by the top sprinter Kyllachy, won five races mainly at 6f but she was also effective between 5 and 7 furlongs and was also placed a further 11 times. She did not race as a 2-y-old as her then trainer, Simon Crisford, considered her immature at that stage in her career. She eventually achieved the very good rating of 88 at her peak so she had considerable ability
Kindly is a half sister to two very decent horses, a German 7f Group 3 winner and to a colt that Richard Fahey trained named Shark One Two who was rated in the 90s as a 2 and 3 year old.
Ken Brulee has had just five runs to date of which four have been on the AW and most of these runs have been over 5f; the available evidence suggests that he now almost certainly needs further than five furlongs; you can see the progress he made from the back after the turn in at Chelmsford in the middle of December, strongly suggesting that, just like his dam, six furlongs would see him highly effective.
He is at the right end of the handicap and we envisage that he should be able to progress and win races this year.
