Welcome to Mark Usher Racing!

I have been training racehorses since 1983 and I am now based in Rowdown Stables, Upper Lambourn, a modern, purpose built, Yard with 30 Boxes with easy access to the superb Lambourn Gallops. We moved into Rowdown on the 1st January 2016 and you can see something of the excellent facilites we have here. My team and I work hard to do the best for our horses and to achieve success and enjoyment for our owners; I pride myself on high standards and attention to detail.

Visitors to the yard are always welcome! You can keep uptodate with the latest news from Rowdown by clicking this link and you can see our immediately upcoming Entries and running plans by clicking here and then selecting 'Entries'.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Running for the first time since the resumption we were delighted to see him run really well over five furlongs at Wolverhampton in the second week of June, just getting touched off for second; you can see a video of the race here.

He has continued to give a good account of himself in sprint handicaps since resuming at Wolverhampton, finishing a close up 5th at Thirsk and third in a competitive Bath sprint handicap before just getting touched off in a similar event in Someerset in the third week of July
