A quiet week in prospect as we run towards Christmas; we may take Misu Pete, seen here winning decisively at Kempton, back to Chelmsford and Mistry to Wolverhampton on Thursday afternoon although as of today neither would be quite certain to run.

The older horses will continue on the move over the holidays but the yearlings will have a break until the New Year; they have had a tough time coming from the Sales, being broken and in starting to be introduced to the Lambourn Downs so an easy fortnight is great for them at a convenient time in human resource terms. They are as far forward as I would want them to be and Mike and I are really pleased with them as a bunch; and appreciative of the investment and the support of Rowdown that they represent; we are all looking forward to 2017!
