Almost Back to a Normal Routine
The Yard is close to being back to a normal routine after the holiday; the older horses have been kept on the move, albeit at a slightly reduced level, and the yearlings have been given a break.
We run Marshall Aid in Lingfield’s staying handicap tomorrow, more of which on Wednesday morning; and one other piece of noteworthy news is that Pension Madness has been given a mark of 110 over hurdles following his excellent run at Newbury behind Marmajuke Bay’s old friend Cosmeapolitan; at first sight this might seem not overly generous and he may attempt to give the lie to this view in Newbury’s Juvenile Hurdle on New Year’s Eve; but it does show what a promising person he is in races where there is more emphasis on stamina than speed.
