Sellingallthetime ran really decently at Wincanton yesterday afternoon on, slightly amazingly, good ground; helped by the strong pace the race was run at (and that the Nicholls trained French & English Bumper winner knuckled over in the straight first time round) he moved into contention as they turned in to finish fifth; he should be able to giive a decent account in Novice races in a similar grade but will come into own in Novice Handicap Hurdles
Leicester, and thus Ciaran's opportunity to race ride Misu Pete, went the same way as Newbury on Saturday ie waterlogged ground; but we are pleased that Born to Please will give him a chance at Nottingham on Wednesday.
Wednesday shapes to be a busy day; aside from Born to Please at Nottingham, Padura Brave and Four Mile Bridge go to Wolverhampton and Tin Fandango to Kempton, both in the evening. Although the declaration is not until 1000 tomorrow we have also rerouted Shufoog to Taunton and their even better than Wincanton ground Wednesday afternoon.
We have three entries on Thursday, Freedom and Wheat and Apex King at Lingfield in the afternoon and Arlecchino's Arc at Kempton in the evening (a shame he is not going to Sunbury on Wednesday as then one or two people could replcate the 1680/1 double with Padura Brave that came so close to coming off in September 2018).
Our spiffing filly Point in Time will likely go to Newmarket over twelve furlongs on Friday afternoon; we are looking to run her one more time after Friday, at Kempton in November, with aim of seeing how she gets on over 16 furlongs.
