I wanted to reiterate what I had spoken of yesterday in an individual email; we are now expecting the detailed individual race programme from the 8th of June through to the end of the month next Tuesday and I will forward this as soon as I have the opportunity.
"I am certainly hoping that racing will resume on 1st June although there is always an element of uncertainty that the government will give the green light, but I have been reassured by the BHA that their work with the DCMS is positive and that they are going full steam ahead for the resumption on 1st June, by next Tuesday we should be receiving a complete program of all the races available during the rest of the month of June which will help us all plan the aims and targets for our horses we will also be receiving instructions of race day protocol which no doubt will be fairly severe. I will expand on this after Tuesday when I have had a chance to have a good look at all the various communications."
If you follow this link you can see yesterday's Resumption update from the BHA; this contains links to a provisional Full Fixture List from the 9th of June through to the end of August as well as other information concerning the way in which Racing 'behind closed doors' will operate.
In the circumstances this is all good news, particularly that we are now on the cusp of being able to make specific running plans for all of our horses, and the Industry continues to work directly towards a resumption a week Monday.
