We are back in action Monday evening at Wolverhampton with Waqaas, who should have a competitive chance in the seven furlong Handicap; one way and another events have conspired to rule out our other entries.
Spirit of Rowdown, Arlecchino's Shade and Willingly are all engaged at Kempton on Tuesday.
We had, I muchly hope, a really successful Book Two and Three at Tattersalls over the course of last week and we should have at least nine yearlings on the move by Christmas; details of four of them are now on our 'Yearling' page, which you can see here; we will have some comprehensive details of all of them uploaded as we work through October.
One other piece of news; the ROA have recently launched a 'Racehorse Relief Fund' to provide funds of last resort to support the needs of racehorses who have fallen into neglect; this has become, primarily as a result of the pandemic, more of a problem than in recent years and you can see the details of the fund here. At Rowdown we always do our utmost to ensure that the horses that leave racing from our Yard are always placed in secure homes where they will lead useful and productive lives; two that have recently been successfully rehomed this Summer are Marshall Aid and Skyllachy
