Outturn from Uttoxeter
Probably the best way to describe what happened at Uttoxeter is to quote the RP Analysis of his performance:
"Timeforaspin has come down 8lb since he started off in handicaps. He was up there from the start and ran better than his finishing position suggests as he only faded late on. He ought to come down a few more pounds and should find a winning opportunity in handicaps."
We will have a think about how to ride him and to perhaps try and not make quite so much use of him in the first half of the race, although clearly bowling along is something of his natural style; and, although he clearly goes on a very testing surface and won at Bangor on one for Olly Murphy, we would like to see how he gets on over the last two hurdles on a better surface.
As I touched on yesterday no runners until the weekend; but a real positive is the upcoming better weather; positively Spring like and of real benefit to the horses.
