Bird for Life Back at Lingfield
We take Bird for Life back to Lingfield for
their sixteen furlong Handicap; regular readers of the Blog will more
or less know the sp without much articulation; draw a line under her
last run when things went West at the Stalls; and you can be confident
that Lingfield's polytrack will suit her considerably better than Bath's
downland on the run before that; and she is really competitively
handicapped at 55 having won off 56 over the c&d under a really intuitive ride from Charlie last May Charlie will
accept that we are likely to be adrift early and, if the mid race pace
is well there, and the pacemakers start to come back round the turn in
she is well capable of powering home in the last furlong; it is
difficult to predict the %age chance of this dropping right but, off
this mark and in this company, it clearly can; and all the double
figure prices were gone within a few mos of them being put up last
night.
No flat racing during the coming week until next Saturday, the 20th, when Lingfield are back on their polytrack.
