Intoxication did not run great at Wolverhampton yesterday and has now posted two modest performances, one on the tapeta and one on the polytrack; we will have a think about how we should go forward with him.

Blue Galaxy runs in Lingfield's staying handicap, the first race on their afternoon card; he has had an extended break over the Summer with a view to letting him mature and strengthen; long term readers of the Blog will recall that his home work showed that he was capable of more on the track than he produced in four runs as a three year old over the Spring and we go to Lingfield to find out more about him; he runs over sixteen furlongs for the first time (he has been consistently balloted out from handicaps over shorter trips) and will likely come on for the race this pm; we are pleased to be able to get him on the track.
