Arlecchino's Gift at Wolverhampton
Arlecchino's Gift goes back to Wolverhampton after having won nicely there off 55 in the middle of March.
Off 60 this afternoon, slightly up in class
and with an outside draw that could have been closer to the rail it
will clearly be tougher this pm under James Doyle; and much of the race
is pretty much tightly handicapped; he was bumped and squeezed early
on at Lingfield on his only run since powering home over the c&d in
the middle of March and it is probably best to discount the actual form
value of that run; he goes back to DP to run well and should be
involved (and he has been well backed overnight); he should have an ew
chance in what is a really competitive race for the grade.
Espirito goes to Chepstow tomorrow
afternoon for his second start under Charlie; he should show
improvement on what he achieved on his debut at Lingfield.
We are just looking at where we might run Q20Boy; either the easieroption but with the prospect of quicker ground at Bath on Wednesdayevening; or the tougher race over the last six furlongs of the RowleyMile on Friday afternoon.
