Tin Fandango ran perfectly respectably on his first start for eight months; keeping resolutely on but not quite coping with the quietly improving Smith's racefit pace in the last furlong and a half; but with the other two well beaten off; he should have a decent Summer ahead of him, should improve for the first run back and the patience his kind Owner has shown over the Winter will pay dividends.

We didn't declare The Bay Warrior for Haydock on Thursday; and our only other runner over the week could be (the horse to keep an eye on at the massive prices) Makyon at Chelmsford on Saturday evening.
