A Change in Running Plans
Virtually no rain overnight Thameside has resulted in Twilight Revenge being rerouted to Kempton next week.
We also had to
make a decision about whether or not to run Liberty Bay at Chepstow;
she is a Mare who is not so effective on easy ground but, with a drying
day ahead, the ground in South Wales has just about come for her.
Although the Mare ran perfectly respectably on her first run back she
has not, quite, run up to her form of last year in three runs since;
the result of which is that the OH has now given her a chance off 58;
and with Isobel's claim she runs off 51 in the saddle this afternoon
(and she won off 70 and was competitive off 71 and 72 a year ago); the
ground could be a bit more robust for her but she does have an excellent
chance at the weights this pm; and we are looking to her bounce right
back.
Dylan's Sea
Song goes to Southwell for their Mare's Hurdle; she had been off the
track for going on eight months when she ran not so great at Huntingdon
in the middle of May; eased back down to the mark she won off last
Summer at Stratford, 98, we are looking for her to come on for that
first run; although the top weight looks to be quite a nice horse in
the making she has to give us 17 pounds; our Mare wears pieces for the
ft over the hood; the early tissue put our Mare in at double figures
prices but those didn't last very long we are going back to
Nottinghamshire to run well with a real competitive ew chance.
On The Right Track, The Bay Warrior and Rowdown Roza all go to Newbury tomorrow evening.
