Runners at Lingfield and Chelmsford
Both Marrakesh Dawn & Leading Star Girl
will know more and be sharper next time, something that particularly
applies to MD who found things happening quickly at the stalls; both
will improve.
Rust E Gal, who comes from a nice family
and is a half sister to the Coventry second, Eldrickjones, makes her
racecourse debut at the age of three in Lingfield's seven furlong
Fillies Maiden; she is, we hope, a nice filly in the making; she will
improve significantly for what she achieves this afternoon and, from the
wide draw, expect her not to make the quickest start you have ever
seen; and to see her making progress in the final couple of furlongs.
Outreach and See The Buckthorn run in the
First Division and Heerathetrack in the Second Division of Chelmsford's
seven furlong Handicap this evening. Both Outreach and STB are decently
drawn, both have almost identical form chances and both might have
perhaps four pounds to find on Top Button but as good a chance as the
remainder; tightly handicapped and how close each of them get will
likely turn on the way the race is run; See The Buckthorn, who was
coming back to the track ex a break when going on towards the finish at
Wolverhampton at the end of April, is well capable of improving on that
run and is overpriced.
Heerathetrack, eased a pound which will
help in a particularly tight handicap, should have an excellent and
really competitive chance in the Second Division; he could have been
drawn closer to the rail but if the race drops right in terms of the
pace he should go close or better.
No runners tomorrow.
