Both Q20 Boy and Monks Mead ran respectably without, quite, getting as close as we thought they might; MM would have finished closer without the interence as they closed over one out but didn't seem to be quite as effective in the better grade.

Q20 Boy wasn;t beaten very far and was going on close home albeit slightly one paced; on the turf, at least, he should be eased at least a pound and you might recall the theory from last Winter that the tipping of his mark was 50; one or two pounds less then yesterday, he ran off 52, will see him go close in a similar race.

Our only entry over the weekend is Monks Mead's alternative race at Windsor on Saturday evening; and Arlecchino's Gift could go to Lingfield on Monday afternoon.
