Three Runners at Wolverhampton
Leading Star Girl, Bird About Town and Saidha all go to Wolverhampton this evening.
We hope that Saidha has a cracking ew
chance in the six furlong Maiden; she is quietly progressive and we
have stayed with Maiden company because the OH has given her an om of
67; but, of the guys that have run this evening, we have the clear best
theoretical chance; she should improve again, should run well and not
be very far away; she ran to 74 when second at Lingfield last week and a
repetition of that will see her go close; unless the unraced guys have
got some real toe.
Bit harder to be quite so bullish about LSG
and BAT; LSG goes up in trip to eight and a half furlongs and might
have four or five pounds to find with Gay Kelleway's runner; reasonably
drawn it is hard to predict how she will run and she goes to
Wolverhampton to show some improvement and to see how she is suited by
the hike in trip.
Bird About Town runs in a handicap for the
ft and is a pound wrong; she is likely to be more suited to middle
distances going forward and from a good draw we are looking to her, just
as with LSG, to show some improvement in Handicaps.
No runners tomorrow; we have just the one
entry on Monday, Arlecchino's Rex at Wolverhampton, and we are just
thinking about his declaration.
