Neither Conquest of Power nor This Time Maybe ran quite as well as we might have hoped to cap a couple of days where things could have gone better all round, particularly on the track at Wolverhampton.

Conquest of Power dropped away in the last furlong to be beaten more than seven lengths to post what was probably his third run since winning at Newcastle where he didn't quite run to his ability.

TTM ran better and made smooth progress from the back over three out and was still travelling really nicely as they levelled out; before running on at the one pace over the last furlong and a half; not beaten so far, just over three lengths, he ran as though he would be more effective over slightly shorter than the full fourteen furlongs of last night.

We are really looking forward to running Fahrenheit Seven in Southwell's very good, Class Two, seven furlong Handicap tomorrow evening.
