Tomorrow Day at Lingfield
Beaten just three lengths after having
every chance a furlong out Arlecchino's Rex ran well; although we had
hoped he would have been closer still; there will be another day for
him eased a pound or two and slightly sharper ex his bit of a break.
Just Dreaming is a filly with ability; to
properly show it on the track she will have to be just a little less
headstrong early and George did really well with her taking a fearsome
hold onto the bend; but she will improve all round for the experience
yesterday and we will specifically work on getting her to settle
better; she will finish her races better with time.
Tomorrow Day goes to Lingfield for the ft
this afternoon for their seven furlong Handicap; eased a pound which,
if this was at Newcastle, would you might think would give him a serious
competitive ew chance; the imponderable is the track and the bend
although the draw is respectable; he is probably fairly priced at
around nines and tens with two, at least, G'Daay and Mount Mogan having a
three pound advantage on a literal reading of the form book; hard to
predict how he might run.
We have made a conscious decision to get
our two year olds ready a little earlier than in our previous immediate
Seasons and two go to Newbury tomorrow, Grand Echo and Ten Cuidado. Ten
Cuidado is out of Best Be Careful who won five races for us when we
were at Saxon House.
