Shades of May runs in the seven furlong All Aged Handicap (8.10) at Lingfield this evening; ft pieces; he is effectively three pounds wrong this evening & runs at Lingfied for the ft and on turf for just the second; it is quite difficult to predict how he will get on; on his last four starts he seems to have a fair bit to find with some (around nine pounds with Blue Collare Lad) but he would have an ew chance on three of his runs in Maiden company before that, most notably when third over six at Chelmsford at the end of January, If he does bounce back he is overpriced at 33s down to fourth and even bigger but there are a fair few imponderables between his last four runs and a return to form.
