Bird About Town didn't cut much ice in three runs in Maidens and Novices and her one run in a Handicap last Autumn and Winter all at around eight furlongs; her dam, Bird to Love, didn't win until the November of her five year old year over eleven furlongs and we hope that with a little time (she has had going on five months off) and a step up in trip our filly will show the kind of improvement her Mother did; she runs from three pounds wrong this afternoon and how she gets on will help inform us of the way ahead with her; we are expecting her to show some improvement this afternoon and we hope that a mark of 43 understates her ability.

Vilaine Verlaine goes to Newbury tomorrow afternoon; and Almizan goes to Chelmsford in the evening.
