Outturn from Kempton
Very pleased with the improvement Hello Humphrey showed at Kempton yesterday evening in a good class race with several at least potentially smart, well bred horses behind him. We would like to think that our guy is on the cusp of winning and, although a slight hike is probably on the cards, he should continue to improve and be competitive in similar handicaps over the Winter.
No runners today; we have declared Flying
Macs for Southwell's slightly extended seven furlong Nursery tomorrow
evening; more of him tomorrow but a first reading of the form book
seems to indicate that only the well exposed Kingsley Park horse has a
better chance at these weights.
We were disappointed to have to pull Monks
Mead out earlier in the week; he had spread a plate; he is one of the
best handicapped horses in the Yard and should be back on the track
directly.
Finally we are just in the process of
finishing setting up our Racing Club for both the rest of the AW Winter
Season and for the start of the 2026 Turf; although Shades of May is a
little exposed the two new horses we have taken into the Club, Fox
Arthur and Lady Birgma, are not and both offer potential and the
prospect of being competitive on the track; all three horses offer the
chance to go Racing and to be involved at our Yard; as a Member of the
Club you would be welcome in the Yard to see them at work virtually any
day Monday through to Saturday; you can see more detail by following this link.
