Outturn from Chelmsford
I suppose we have had better evening's at Chelmsford than yesterday; Lady Birgma didn't seem to show a great deal of improvement and we will have to think carefully about how to get her to produce some.
Grand Echo was well ridden to have every chance and was travelling really nicely two and a half out just behind the pace; but, after switching right, gradually weakened over the last furlong or so to produce a slightly disappointing finishing position; back to Kempton is one immediate response, where he ran so well, and he is better than yesterday evening's finishing position might indicate.
No runners today or over the weekend; our
next entry is Arlecchino's Rex who will be looking to replicate his nice
performance in winning a similar extended nine furlong Classified Stake
last week at Wolverhampton on Tuesday evening.
