Arlecchino's Rex goes to his favourite Wolverhampton this evening for their extended nine furlong Handicap (5.35); we could defo have been better drawn, in 11, with the bend coming up so quickly but we remain on 49 off which, although three pounds higher than when won two starts back, he has been competitive the last twice; there are around three pounds between five of them on the book and our guy is in amongst those five with at the very most possibly four pounds to find; he clearly has a competitive ew chance at 12s or bigger although the realisation of that chance will turn on the way the race is run and the effect of the draw; but he is overpriced down to fourth.

Amakhala goes to Nottingham tomorrow evening for their six furlong Handicap (5.12) under Silvestre De Sousa, a jockey who has a really excellent record for us over the years; eased another four pounds to 48 (from an om of 57).
