The Bay Warrior at Wolverhampton
The Bay Warrior, eased two pounds to 59 and in a 0-60 for the ft in some 18 months, should have a real competitive ew chance in Wolverhampton's twelve furlong Handicap (6.30) this evening, especially if you allow Rose's five pounds; at the age of 8 and running for the 60th time it would be true to say that he might not have scope to make much improvement but he is handicapped to reflect that with 54 in the saddle; he might have around four pounds to find with Rubellite and three or so with Beaune so he is probably fairly priced at around sevens; but a repetition of his close up finish on Lingfield's valuable Easter Card will see him involved and expect him to run well this evening; he has an excellent ew chance off the reduced mark in this grade.
No runners tomorrow and we are just thinking about whether or not to take Searchingbtheblues to Southwell on Thursday evening.
