A half brother to our six time winning Handicapper, Bayston Hill, and to Indigo, who won twice for us, this Mukhadram gelding had three runs in Maiden company at the back end of 2019 running a nice race to be beaten six lengths in the final one of these, at Kempton at the beginning of November.

Once racing got back under way after the pandemic he put in two solid efforts in Handicaps, finishing fourth at Leicester in the middle of June 2020 over eight furlongs before finishing a running on third, beaten three quarters of a length, at Salisbury over ten furlongs in the second week of July. After a break he stepped up in trip to eleven furlongs in a competitive Kempton Handicap at the end of September and again acquited himself well, staying on all the way up the straight to finish third, beaten just four lengths. After seeming not to stay 14 furlongs at Wolverhampton he went back to Dunstall Park at the beginning of November 2020 and powered home over twelve furlongs under a fine ride from David Probert.

After a break from New Year to the end of March 2021 he returned to the track and ran reasonably at Kempton and Leicester before disappointing on easy ground at Bath at the beginning of July 2021; we then found him a nice twelve furlong Handicap at Chepstow at the end of the month and he won really easily;

After trying fourteen furlongs at Salisbury, a trip that he seemed not to get, he came back down to eleven furlongs for a competitive handicap at Goodwood;and won decisively under a fine ride from Joey Haynes; becoming, just like his spiffing multiple winning half brother, Bayston Hill, he had become a quietly progressive horse with maturity; and he showed this by following up the Goodwood performance by decisively winning a competitive twelve furlong Handicap at Wolverhampton at the beginning of October 2021; you can see the race here; and Joey Haynes post race interview here.

After an extended break over the Winter of 2021/2022 we put him back on the track at Newbury at the end of May 2022; he ran four times over the Summer of 2022 and, although he did run to a decent level in a second run at Newbury in June, he did not replicate the level of his 2020 and 2021 form; he was off the track over the Winter of 2022/2023.

The time away from training over the Winter of 2022/23 served him well and he came back to the track to win ft out at Wolverhampton at the end of March 2023; and followed that up by decisively turning over a long odds on favourite at Bath in the middle of June, a really pleasing performance. Now the winner of six races from 34 starts he has a splendid 38% win and place strike rate.
