        Owner:  Usher's Court

By the King Edward VII Stakes winner and very high class middle distance horse that Sir Michael Stoute trained, Telescope, this very nice grey gelding is the first foal from the winning mare Indigo; he is very closely related to the multiple winning Big Bad Bob gelding that we have at Rowdown, Bayston Hill, and we would like to think that he was well bought at Tattersalls Ascot Sale in August 2019.

If you follow this link you can see him working in behind Misu Pete and the Rowdown Nursery Gleneagles gelding on the 1st of April. And here he is two and a half weeks later being led by Hnourable Knight on the 18th of April 2020.

We got him onto the track in December 2020 in an eight furlong Lingfield Maiden and two further runs in Maiden company followed. at Southwell and back at Lingfield, in January 2021; he had a number of runs in Handicaps over the course of the 2021 flat season and has yet to translate his home work onto the track; despite very nearly always travelling terribly well in his races.

We hope now to exploit that, the way he travels, by running him over hurdles; he has been well schooled by Henrietta Knight, as the video on this link might show, and we hope that he will give his Owners a lot of fun and enjoyment over the coming Summer; he is a very sound horse whose breathing has been consistently good, both of which will stand him in good stead under Rules.
